African style masks the Bumblebees made with Ms. Head in art class. We enjoy art very much and appreciate the way Ms. Head links it to our studies. We were studying safari animals in Africa. Adding in the study of masks was an anthropological addition to what we were learning.

 We loved seeing all the animals at the Pt. Defiance Zoo and Aquarium! We saw animals from the coral reefs...

 and animals from the safari...

It was a great day of learning and adventure!
